Therapy is…

 

Therapy is a space for exploration, connection, growth, and change. You will get to know yourself better and gain awareness of your patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Once you have that awareness and understanding of yourself, you will have opportunities to make changes to those patterns and your life. You will get to know your strengths and weaknesses well and you’ll develop ways to make the best of both. 

My role as a therapist is to accompany and guide my clients on this journey, knowing when to be gentle and when to push a little bit harder to make progress towards their goals. I specialize in working with individuals who are facing big life changes and transitions, those struggling with relationship issues, depression, and anxiety, or those who want to improve their self-esteem. I use an integrated approach that combines CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, trauma-focused and attachment based approaches. My approach varies based on my clients’ goals and preferences but is always empowering and encouraging.
