A grounded space for meaningful change

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) providing individual and couples therapy for adults.

I approach therapy with curiosity, warmth, and the belief that people make sense within the context of their lives. The ways we cope, protect ourselves, or relate to others often develop for understandable reasons, even when they eventually leave us feeling stuck or disconnected. Rather than beginning with assumptions about what someone needs, I start by trying to understand their experience as fully as possible — and I bring the same openness to how we work together, letting the direction of therapy take shape from what's actually in front of us rather than a fixed idea of where you should end up.

My role is not to tell you who you should become, but to think alongside you as we make sense of your experiences, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you, and discover new ways of responding to yourself and the people around you.

My Approach

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I provide individual and couples therapy for adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, and the lingering effects of difficult past experiences.

My work is informed by psychodynamic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, breathwork, and other nervous system-informed approaches — the specific mix depends on what's most useful at a given point in someone's therapy.

Different approaches can be helpful at different stages: reflective, insight-oriented work may open something up, while EMDR or breathwork might be what's needed to process an experience the mind alone hasn't been able to resolve. Together, we determine what best supports the work as it evolves.

While insight is an important part of therapy, I believe meaningful change also comes through new emotional experiences, greater self-awareness, and finding different ways of relating to ourselves and others.

How we work together

Understanding your context

Recognizing familiar patterns

Processing underlying emotion

Building new responses

We begin by exploring the thoughts, emotions, and life events that have shaped your current experience and relational world.

We practice different ways of relating to yourself and others, fostering secure connection and emotional resilience over time.

Together we identify recurring relational cycles and protective responses that may no longer serve your present life.

Using EMDR and nervous system-informed approaches, we address stored tension and painful memories at a manageable pace.
